Puppy Head Start and Beginner Dog Education

Puppy Head Start and Beginner Dog Education

The Puppy Head Start and Beginner Education Program is specifically designed for puppies 10 weeks up to adult aged dogs that have had no previous training.  At the end of each six (6) week course participants will be given a certification of completion.  During the course your puppies or dogs will be introduced to simple cues like sit, come and stay. Also, canine health, grooming and nutrition will be discussed due to the importance of taking care of your pets. This course is also a great way to socialize your dog with other dogs and people.

With the older dogs in the group, issues such as house manners and basic cues like stay from a distance will be addressed.

All ages are welcome to attend class with their canines.  We do ask that children under the age of 14 also be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

There will be a time after each class for questions and answers that need to be addressed and handled individually.
