Date: Saturday, November 5, 2016 Time: TBA Drop Site Location: Residents must transport their items to the North Myrtle Beach Sanitation Department Transfer Station located on 2nd Avenue South.
The annual home cleanup day provides North Myrtle Beach residents with an opportunity to clean out their closets, attics, garages, and storage sheds. During the event, residents may discard unwanted items, including appliances, TVs, furniture, paint, pesticides, chemicals, oil, old tires and more. However, no construction debris or medical waste will be accepted.
The first Saturday in November of each year is Amnesty Day. Drop-off sites are identified within the city and are manned with KNMBB volunteers. City residents may discard bulk items, hazardous materials such as paints and pesticides, etc., to be collected for proper disposal.
Call Gregg Barnhill at (843)280-5673 to volunteer for the clean up.
