Pedal in the Park- March 22, 2019

Join North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation on a free, family friendly, glowing bike ride in the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex on Friday, March 22nd. Ride begins at 7:30 PM at the Sandhills Bank Amphitheater.

Bring your own bike and wear your brightest neon and glow items! Light refreshments available at the conclusion of the ride (for a small fee)! S’mores will be complementary!

Parks and Recreation

We create community through People, Parks and Programs. The Parks & Recreation department strives to provide all citizens of North Myrtle Beach the highest level of programs, facilities and services that will positively affect our vision of creating community.

The Parks & Recreation maintains 11 parks and over 240 beach accesses. Through our parks and open spaces we provide opportunities for recreation while preserving the environment.

The community recreation center and local parks provide a safe environment for affordable programs and community events. Individuals and families are able to enjoy active lifestyles promoting health, fitness, social interaction and overall wellbeing.

Through our special events and upscale sports facilities, the City of North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation department increases tourism and promotes the local economy.   Our annual calendar of events and festivals is full of distinctive celebrations offering live music, family fun entertainment and great social settings.
