THANKSGIVING DAY TO NEW YEAR’S DAY WORKOUT CHALLENGE
For 35 days, from Thanksgiving Day to New Year’s Day, you have two challenges to do each day (one cardio challenge and one core challenge). They can be done at the same time or split up if you prefer.
CARDIO CHALLENGE
The cardio challenge is just ONE mile of any type of cardio you choose to do. In a perfect world, you would be doing these outside to get the benefit of being in the fresh air and you would be switching things up and doing different types of cardio. Visit our Fitness Desk and ask a Fitness Specialist to introduce a different piece of cardio equipment into your weekly routine.
CORE CHALLENGE
The core challenge is also the same each day, you hold a regular plank, with good form for as long as possible. The goal here is just to get moving or keep moving through the holidays but we suggest recording your progress on each so you can monitor your mile time and plank time so you can see improvements over the course of the challenge. You could also create a log to check off each day that you complete the challenge!
