Registration opens on April 4.
- Summer Camp 1 will run from June 13-July 6.
- Summer Camp 2 will run from July 18-August 10th.
NMBOR Junior Lifeguards are for those ages 9-15 who love being in and around the water. During this camp, participants will learn beach safety, First Aid and CPR, and basic water rescue skills.
Every day during the camp, Junior Lifeguards will engage in fun physical challenges and participate in team activities as they learn about how to keep themselves and others safe around the ocean. The camp is taught by Beach Patrol Officers and highly trained ocean lifeguards. Junior Lifeguards will have the opportunity to shadow real lifeguards as well.
Details about this year's shadowing program will be released at the beginning of camp.
Each camp runs for four weeks. The camp meets on the beach at Main Street in North Myrtle Beach on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am-10:30am for every session except for CPR training days. On CPR training days, Junior Guards will meet at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center from 9am-12:00pm.
