We are so glad to have each and every one of you back in our facility to enjoy Pickleball. Things have changed and it is very important to us that each person feels safe and welcome in our facility.
Here are a few things to help you understand our new operational procedures for the Indoor Pickleball Program at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center!
GYM ONE and GYM TWO will be CLOSED on Tuesday, July 14-17th.
Online Booking Only:
Pickleball will be scheduled using an online reservation system only. There will only be 18 spots per gym per session.
You will not be allowed to call and make reservations over the phone.
Each individual must be registered in a slot under their own name with all appropriate information included.
Walk-ins will be permitted to fill the gym to its maximum capacity of 18.
You will have 15 minutes after the session starts to join. After that time has elapsed, the session will be closed, even to walk-ins.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your session, someone waiting may take your spot.
Anyone that walks in will be instructed to use our online reservation system and provided with all pertinent information to do so.
Every Thursday by 5 pm the upcoming weeks (Monday-Friday) sessions will be posted online and you will be able to start reserving gym time.
Each person will be allowed to reserve ONE (1) session per day.
If you have played during the day in your reserved time slot and their is a slot available later in the day, you may fill the slot only as a walk-in.
As people reserve, you will see the number decrease per session. This will help you determine which sessions are available for play.
Once you have reserved your time, you will receive a confirmation email. You are able to make cancellations and changes to your appointment times at the bottom of your confirmation email.
Gym One and Gym Two will be broken into THREE (3) groups.
Each session will last for ONE (1) hour and FORTY-FIVE (45) minutes.

All Annual Passes have been extended for 77 days if your Annual Pass was still active on March, 18, 2020. The facility was closed from March 18 – May 31.
Monthly passes will still be available starting the first day of each month and run until the last day of the month. Monthly passes are $10 (Residents of the City of North Myrtle Beach) and $15(Non-Residents of the City of North Myrtle Beach). Monthly passes are issued during each month as long as it is financially beneficial for the individual, with the understanding it will expire on the last day of the month.
Weekly passes will not be issued at this time.
A daily pass of $1 (Residents of the City of North Myrtle Beach) or $2 (Non- Residents of the City of North Myrtle Beach) will be charged for those that do not possess an Annual Pass.
All players with a reservation will be allowed to enter the building 10 minutes before their scheduled start time.
Players waiting for a session must wait outside of the building.
All players are asked to practice social distancing by remaining 6 feet apart from each other inside the facility and while waiting outside.
Upon entering the building, players will check in at the front desk.
Directional signs will be posted for entering and exiting all facility doors.
The first group in each gym will be required to set up pickleball nets. They will be stored in an upright position along the walls.
The last group playing in each gym should remove the nets from the floor and relocate them along the walls in the gym.
When a session ends, all players in that gym will have 5 minutes to vacate the facility.
At that time, J. Bryan Floyd Community Center staff will make a sweep of the facilities to clean all surfaces before the next group starts.
No lingering and socializing in the gyms and hallways.
All players are required to bring all equipment needed to play. Balls and paddles will not be provided to the public.
Floors in gyms 1 and 2 will be cleaned before 8:30 am and again between 12:15 pm and 1:00 pm.
Players should wash hands frequently, use hand sanitizer at entrance and stations provided throughout the building.
Participants are encouraged to provide and utilize their own masks, hand sanitizer and gloves when participating in activities within the facility.
If a player has tested positive for the Corona Virus or is experiencing symptoms, they may not enter facility until cleared by their healthcare provider.
Players must complete sign in forms and new waivers at the front desk before playing. Players will not be allowed to play until all paperwork is completed.
Forms of payment accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Cash, Check and Money Order. All checks should be made payable to the City of North Myrtle Beach.
No bills larger than $20 will be accepted for daily payments.
Credit Cards are not accepted for purchases under $5.
Outdoor Pickleball courts are open to the public free of charge at all times. Parks and Recreation Pickleball equipment is not permitted on the outdoor courts. Participants are responsible for providing their own outdoor equipment.
Players are responsible for provide their own paddles and balls for indoor play. Nets will be provided.

You will receive a confirmation email at the conclusion of your reservation.
If you must make changes to your reservation you will be able to access that through a link in your confirmation email.
Participants are allowed to book only ONE(1) time slot per day.
If two reservations are booked for one day, the second reservation will be canceled and a cancelation email informing you of the change will be sent.

PICKLEBALL PASS OPTIONS
ANNUAL PASSES will run from the day they are purchased until the same day on the following year. If you buy an annual pass on 10/6/2020 the pass will be valid 10/6/2020 to 10/6/2021.

MONTHLY PASSES are available starting on the first of the month.
Monthly passes do not run date to date, they run from the first of the month to the end of the month. You are able to purchase a monthly pass at any time during the month as you see it beneficial to you.

DAILY PASSES will require players to pay each time they participate in Pickleball. Only a receipt will be given to these participants. Once they have paid at the front desk, they will sign in on the roster and receive a wristband that must be worn at all times during Pickleball hours.

*Additional family members must reside in the same residence as the primary pass holder. A driver’s license or state issued ID will need to be provided for discounted rate and to issue a pass.
