Christmas in North Myrtle Beach
Join in the holiday festivities with North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation. This holiday season we will enjoy a wreath making class, the City Christmas Tree Lighting, Dashing Through The Glow presented on 2 nights, The Great Christmas Light Show, and more!
The City of North Myrtle Beach presents the 38th Annual All City Christmas Cantata. Church choirs from the North Myrtle Beach area join together to create a musical program you will not soon forget!
It would not be Christmas at the beach without the annual nighttime NMB Christmas parade. Join your friends and neighbors on Main Street to enjoy the lighted floats and vehicles representing groups from all across the area.
Christmas Tree Lighting
Join Santa and his friends at McLean Park for the light of the City Christmas Tree. Enjoy stage performances, Christmas music, caroling, activities and refreshments. A great start to your holiday season!
Dashing Through the Glow
Be one of the first to see the lights during this two mile non-competitive walk/run through the Great Christmas Light Show. Get in the spirit and wear your best Holiday themed outfit. Prizes will be given for best dressed individual and best dressed family. The walk/run will end at Santa's Village, where you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and check out some of the activities.
Pet Photos with Santa
Furry friends love Santa too! Bring your beloved faily pets to meet Santa Clause at the Large Dog Park in NMB Park & Sports Complex. Bring your camera and capture the perfect Christmas card photo. All well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.
The Great Christmas Light Show
The Great Christmas Light Show is a park-wide lighted celebration that is sure to capture the true spirit of the season! The drive through light show will feature over 2 million lights festively displayed along a 2 mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex.
