Lieutenant Griffin supervises the Communication/ Detention Center as well as the B rotation patrol squads. Lieutenant Griffin is a sixteen-year veteran of the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety.
Work History
She formerly worked in Uniform Patrol as a Field Training Officer, K9 Handler, and Patrol Sergeant. She also worked in the Criminal Investigations Unit and Training Division before being promoted to Lt. in 2014. Lieutenant Griffin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia University, in Columbia South Carolina.
Education
She is a graduate of the University of Louisville's Southern Police Institute's 134th Administrative Officers Course and holds an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from Horry Georgetown Technical College.

Lieutenant Griffin is an active member of the National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives, the Southern Police Institute's Alumni Association, the North Myrtle Beach Optimist Club, the North Myrtle Beach Women's Club, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association.
