Greg Frazier assumed the position and duties of Fire Marshal/Division Chief on May 1st 2016. He is originally from Henderson, North Carolina and has over 30 years of experience in the fire service. Chief Frazier began his career with the Henderson, North Carolina Fire Department in December of 1985 as a Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician. He was promoted to Fire Marshal in 1995. He served in that capacity until December of 2000.
Career
In December of 2000 he joined the Office of The Fire Marshal with the Raleigh, North Carolina Fire Department as a Deputy Fire Marshal. During his tenure there he also served in the New Construction Division managing most major construction projects in the city. From 2010 until his retirement from the Raleigh Fire Department Chief Frazier was a 24 hour Shift Fire Marshal assigned to the Operations Division.

Personal Life & Education
He has also attended fire protection systems and fire pump inspection courses at Oklahoma State University. He has been happily married to Debbie for 22 years.
